Pic of the Week

I was looking for an image to post as my pic of the week and I came across this one of the VW Passat we bought in 2008. The former owner took this photo and added it to his ad to sell the car. It's been a really good car and we get around 35MPG on the highway. I thought to post the image today since gas prices are right back where they were in 2007/2008.

Since this car is a diesel engine model (TDI), we can and do use bio-diesel to run it; and made zero modifications to the car. While the bio-diesel we buy is actually more expensive than regular diesel, it wouldn't be if there was a bigger market for it. So, there it is, an alternative to fossil fuels that works, and produces far less emissions. The bio-diesel we buy from SeQuential is processed from used vegetable oil and canola right here in Oregon. I think this is a local, green friendly, technology you can take the bank. No wars required.

I'm glad you are still liking the BioDiesel. While I no longer use it day to day thanks to my Benz repair $$, I still use it in my truck and I'm glad I was able to inspire my friends and family to convert over to the stuff. It's still amazing and well worth paying extra for.

I only wish others would follow suit and figure out that BioDiesel is the easiest, cheapest method to date for getting around in todays world.

You forgot to mention that this car also "Self Heals" which is a rare feature. I wonder if the original owner paid extra for that? he he he

I see that the car is living on a farm. Isn't that where cars go to die?
