One of the reasons I started this blog was to share my love of music. My intent is to feature a different band each week, and let you sample it via the MediaFire server. I want to also put some of my favorite mixes up for you to hear, but for today, I'm kicking it off with Maroon 5's latest album, 'Hands All Over'.

"Maroon 5 have known each other since attending Brentwood School together in Los Angeles. Maroon 5's third studio album was recorded in 2009 in Switzerland, where the band joined forces with record producer Robert "Mutt" Lange. Hands All Over was released on September 21, 2010."
I was looking forward to hearing this album since Mutt Lange produced it. Lange is the former husband, producer and collaborator of/for Shania Twain. Lange's production is nicely over the top, harmony heavy, and super clean.
While I don't think this is a great album, I stuck with it to find that it really gets fun and catchy at the end. Start with the song 'Runaway' - track 11. Tracks 11-14 are my favorites. Track 12, 'Out of Goodbyes', is with Lady Antebellum, a country trio, and sounds like a Shania song for sure.
